Change ALL of the fluids immediately. You never know how well the previous owner maintained the bike, so its always safe to start your own maintenance asap with any used bike you buy.....=-)

if youve never ridden b4 take the MSF course, could prevent you dumping your pretty new bike while your learning the basics.

Bring it up to about 8,000rpms in first gear and then pin it wide open.....

dont do what i say though

enjoy and ride safe....dont speed in the cityor past green lights, never speed past any intersection.
And remember that these bike dont respond well to heavy rear brake usage.
I have seen so many newbees dump thier bikes from panic stoping with the back brake.

Riding the bike may seem easy, but reacting to different situations requires experience. Never think it's easy and remember that even if you ride for 50 years you will still be learning.

There is a sticky on top of this 954 section that has ashop manual.Just go to the dealership and they will hook you up on the correct parts over the counter.

Check out the brake pads while your at it.
