Default Insurance !?!

Wow, I just called my insurance company and they want 2 grand a year for my 2003 cbr 954RR that is ridiculous. That's like buying the whole bike again in two years. How much do you guys think just liability will be.
WOW!!

well, its a sportbike above 900cc, what did you expect?

what it really depends on is your age, the bike, and how many tickets you have.

If your in Canada and under 25 or have any tickets on your record that is an amazing deal lol.
When I got my first quote over 25 with a clean record (Only M1) I got quoted $12,000 for a 600cc.

I got progressive just last month when i bought my 1000rr, I got a clean record, no accidents, and got insurance for around $1200 a year. roughly $102 a month. Its not the best but yea the bigger the bike the more you will spend and that will depend on your driving record. I'm hoping for no tickets this season so maybe next season its a lil cheaper. also if you are making payments on the bike you need more than liability, you need full coverage.

If you finance, bank won't let you buy only liability? In other words "one way" any accident, insurance only pay others, not yourself. Bank will make you buy full cover, since you still owe them money.
