I'm in love
well made the final payment on my 2002 CBR954RR Drove a couple hours and picked it up. Gotta say this is the bike for me. I'm 5' 9" and 160-170lbs. I fit perfect, the bike feels perfect, better then anything I've ever ridden.
Loads of Torque. Love it. Diablo SuperSports grip so hard!
The bike is modified, I'll post pics later
Mods:
BMC Race Filter
Micron Headers
Micron HM Exhaust
Diablo SuperSports
SS Brake lines
Galfer Rotors
HotBodies Undertail
Vortex Rearsets
Corbin Seats
PCIII
Oh and dont ride a bike through gravel without a rear hugger. It took all the paint off the undertail and marked up the tailight at 10mph. I'm ordering a hugger tonight. I'm also wrapping the bike in clear laminex to help prevent any other minor damage once i get the whole tail repainted

I went on a 400 mile bike ride today. Got my new AGV leathers, helmet and boots so I decided to go up "The Snake" or Old US 421 for anyone who's been there.
Gotta say I am confident on this bike while I'm cruising, but in some hard twisties it feels a little unstable? I'm not sure if its something I'm doing or not. There is a turnabout where I can normally drag my knee at 15-20mph and I couldnt do it. I feel like there is something wrong with me, haha
Dont get me wrong im not ballz to the wall riding. not like other riders around here. I was leaning in a right hander blind corner and a white KTM SuperMoto passed me in the oncoming lane on a blind corner doing 60+.

how did the tire blow out???? you have to really watch the tire pressure... that could have been causing all of the handling issues.... if not, you need to adjust the suspension. setting it up yourself is really tedious and you need a partner to do it correctly with the rear sag and all of that. its a WHOLE lot easier to take it to a shop and let them do it, provided they know what they're doing (look for a shop that has a few sponsored track bikes for example).
you have to be careful when you get a new bike.... both of my tires were around 10psi when i bought my 954...

I will probably be in Shady Valley this Thursday for a little riding before coming back to Bristol for the last Street Fights event of the year.
