Glad to hear your ok! I bought one of the fairing kits from hong kong. for the price they are not bad, mine mounted up perfectly and did not require any mods. They are not as good as oem but much cheaper. the paint on my fairings was slightly off, you can see in my sig that the silver on the fairins is a little darker than the oem silver on the tank.

i have the repsol kit from hong kong...not bad for the money...just a few tweaks to get it just right

 

I havesome cheap ebay hong kongfairings, fit well. but mine are PVC plastic and have issues around the headers and exhaust

 

well the it i was looking at was abs plastic, and the silver and black from the 03' i think that color pattern looks awesome... but what to do about the red tank?? does a company make vinyls to cover the complete tank? i dont wanna do the bra look-a like deal but what do you all think??

 

Lol, take the tank off and paint it!!!! easy has that, get the paint# for the silver....should be really cheap, even if you have someone else do it.

 

I cant tell from your pics, are any of the fairings cracked? save your self some money....keep whatever fairings are good, get some unpainted fairings for cheaper. Then just paint it whatever color/design you want. Thats just my opinion, why pay all that to have a silver n black? its the perfect oppurtunity to give yours a unique look. Did the forks get bent at all?

 

i bought the hong kong plastics. they were a little snug.. but nothing 2 ppl cant do...also WAY WAY cheaper then the stock stuff. then i took in the fairing to a carpaint place. and they matched the orange.Then i got the repsol stickers and put the wings and logo on the tank


o yah then polished the frame and swingarm and bought PM rims and wave rotors :-) that was the expensive part.

 

yes very fairing on my bike it cracked or totally busted. but i just filed taxes... she should be back together in less than a month. i hope.

 

and forks are fine.

 

if i had a good job. and not blowing my meger amount on living .
i really want to get the entire carbon fiber body kit. and carbon fiber gas tank.from OPP racing.. and have it all repainted repsol colors. but the black areas would just be clear coated so the carbon fiber would show through.would make our 954,s really unique.
i just sent off my ram air covers to a guy in arizona . he is going to make them carbon fiber. plus my fender. ill resticker it and UV clear coat it.
....then i woke up in a cold sweat....
but that would be cool though.
