How much will a custom paint job cost?
I have the black and titanium color scheme on my bike but I have been thinking of going with the custom black fading into charcoal or titanium color scheme . Just wondering how much it was going to cost.

I'll tell you what,if you want to paint your bikeyou shouldtrade me your black on titanium fairings and tank for my black on red fairings and tank. I'll cover shipping and then some!

such a general question.. depends on what kinda paint job you want.. who you bring it to.. what colors/design, paint/coats.. custom work.. like a 100 factors.. go to some places and ask around.. but for all plastics with a pretty basic theme about 1000 or less

Custom paint = Bullseye on your bike. The nicer the paint the bigger the target...[sm=happybounce.gif]....Sooner or later the plastic will take a hit. Don't spend any more than you are O.K. with seeing go away. ::::::Sport Bike....[sm=badbadbad.gif]...Not Busa.[sm=icon_blah.gif]

yeah depends on the shop, and the painters exp.. along with what scheme your looking for.. i got a solid job done form a great shop for about 700, and now im going with a pearl (since my drop) and the paints going for 1200.... yeah iv seen paint jobs go for well over 5000..

Look dude I had my bike painted 2 times. The first time I spent 650 and that was black wit a red snake skin pattern. Then I dropped the bike and I was pretty sick.....Got it repainted again and it cost me 800 for the paint job that you see in my siggy. Bobjoe said it correct, there are many factors.

Hey Mera954and pimpncbr954s, when you guys got your bikes painted did you take the whole bike to the paint shop or just take all of the parts to the shop? I would imagine the paint job would cost less if all of theparts that needed paintwere removed from the bike.

in my case i knew the guy so i let him take my bike, but i know for sure if i didnt know the shop very well, and htey were younger guys doing the work i wouldnt risk leaving the bike there... iv had my car crashed b4 so im a littel bias.. 03 mach1 down the drain....

Hey Moto i took my whole bike because i got it stretched and lowered and got the wheels done (could have done it myself but im deployed right now) at the same time. If i were to have taken just the plastic i would have saved like 50 bucks.
