Default hot bodies flush mount turn signals (pics inside!!)

I am pretty new to the 954rr side of the forum and one of the first things I wanted to do when I got my 02, was to get flush mount turn signals. When I did a search I found that there were tons of threads containing which you should buy and which look the best. Coming from a 600rr prior to my 954rr I had loved Hot Bodies products, and had read in many threads that you could use the 1000rr hotbodies flush mounts on the 954rr but no one had pics. So I went ahead and ordered a pair and gave it a shot. Now they do not exactly fit perfect but they are so close its scary lol, just keep in mind you will want to keep the rubber seal off your stockers as it give you just the right amount of wedging to get the turn signals to fit into place. Over all this process took 15 mins to install, it was super easy. Now time for some pics!!

in my opinion these are the best looking flush mounts your can buy for under 50 bucks, and I just wanted to post pics so others would know what they look like before ordering themselves a pair! side note these are the smoked out pair item number H04RR-SIG-SMK

Its easy just splice the ground wire to the ground and signal wire to the signal wire (I forgot the colors I can check later but its easy just trial and error).

The running light wont be used unless you want to splice it in but thats more work.

I ordered a set of those Hotbodies signals for my 954. The problem was the previous owner installed some big ugly Cyclegear signals so I didn't have the factory signal grommet to make it work. I ended up returning them and getting some Lockhart Philips Turn 6 LED signals. I'm glad I did, as they look cooler and are more visible than the Hotbodies signals.

These came on my F4i and look great, they're a perfect fit in the fairing recess and blend in well. The downside is that they do sacrifice a lot of forward visibility. Eventually I will replace with something that has more light forward projection.

asullivan, those look good on your bike. I have the same signals on my F4. At their price point, they are a good quality signals. Easy to wire them as signal only or as running lights as well.
