Default RE: help! Bike choke at full throttle -- parts identification

ORIGINAL: zhanyushi

Hi, i just brought an 02' 954rr with 8k miles.
Everytime i snap the throttle back to full throttle the bike would hesistate and shake as if it is not getting any gas.

If i slowly pull the throttle back and accelerate then there is no problem. I tried this is 1st and 2nd gear and the problem persisted around 6-7k rpm. Not sure at what rpm it starts acting up because my eyes were on the road.

Could it be a sensor problem? needs tuning up?

Also , the previous owner relocated the intrument cluster, i would like to know the name of the OEM bracket that holds the instrument cluster, thankyou.

the cables to the egcv need to be adjusted-assuming this is a stock exhuast!
this is a common problem for a 54-refer to the service manual-if you need any further help
please post any questions
