always on full choke and sometimes hard to start

Default always on full choke and sometimes hard to start

i have a 88 hurricane 600 whenever i can get it to start i always have to run it on full choke and i also sometimes have trouble starting it sometimes. i reall need help my clymer manual i think is pretty much useless. and i also have a high idle even when i use the idle adjuster.

what do you mean you have to run it on full clutch? like you need to readjust your clutch lever...or did you mean choke? may be a carb syncing problem or possibly carbs need a good scrubbin.

I hade the same problem with mine when I got it. Clean the carbs and choke and it should help out tremendously. I used a can of carb and choke cleaner from an auto parts store and it worked just fine.
