i posted this twice now sorry guys new to the site just gettin used to it i have an 03 954 just got it the other day bought it from a guy at work he dropped it a couple years ago the thing is it has no headlight its the 2 peice race fairings from hot bodies i beleive it doesnt relly look like the stock head light will fit i dont relly kno what to do i like the fairings so i dont want to replace them so i was wondering if ne one else has run into the same problem i need to get it legal so i can go get it inspected or any ideas i build helicopters so mods really shouldnt be any problem cause i will just take it to work with me and have some of the compisite guys do what has to be done i m just kinda stuck right now i was thinking about goin with the split lights any help out there thanks

 

I suppose you could always put one of them rectangular driving lights underneath the front of the upper. I know it seems cobjob but you only need it to pass inspection. Maybe even zip-tie one above by removing the windscreen for the inspection. This sounds bad, but that's all i have for an idea.

 

if u like the race front end but want lights u could do something like the ducati headlighting..it could be spendy but would be pretty sweet.

you must have empty space behind that race fairing to do something custom.. that or replace the fairings are your only options

 

for the time being i have it filled in we fab alot of **** at the shop i just got back they said that i have to cut the headlight out or they wont pass the inspection i live ne ride mostly in the city so i need it

 

Well I would fabricate some piaa lights into the fairing or purchase a new or usedoem fairing and install factory lights in.

 

the fairings are 2 peice so i need the right and the upper i m probly just goin to take it in i have the piaa lights on under the fairings now i will take some more pics and show ya

 

I just ordered a new upper for my bike,When I get it I won't be needing my existing one.I'm planning on selling it on Ebay,but if someone needs one here I sell it for a good price.
