Default Head light suggestions

So my 2002 954RR has the worlds worst headlights. I am looking for upgrades or mods to make them better. My 1994 CBR 600F2 should not have better headlights.

Also looking for anyone place in the Milwaukee WI area to do some performance tuning on my bike, recommendations please!

Thanks
Seth

Xentec hids from eBay. Or deal with DDM hids and wait for awhile. They are slow at shipping and quality is just the same as xentec. Xentecs are cheaper too. What performance upgrades are you looking for?

Thanks I'm looking at ordering them right now! The bike seems to mechanically unbalanced, i guess just lots of raw power. Almost like a shake to it or wild side you don't know what to always expect. thinking about going thru the trans and rebuilding that next.

Is your headlight painted or tinted? Its hard to tell from the pic but it looks like it. I have had my 954 for 3 years and nearly 18k miles and never had a problem with the headlights. Yes the low beam could be a little brighter but the high beam is better than I could ever need.

With the weak charging system on these bikes adding HID's increases your chances of having stator and rectifier problems or melting the wiring harness if not installed correctly.

I'm going to start with trying to replace the place head peace for the headlight assmbly and go from there. This bike has been a complete rebuild from day one. I bought the bike last fall after a guy did a slow speed fall with it for $1800, needed chain, sprockets ( down 1 tooth in the front up 3 in the rear now) new plasitics, values adjusted, tires, break pads, head lights burnt out, new throttle cables, clutch cable, hand grips flush mount turn signals and polished the frame. Needless to say I now have a bike $3900 with 21K miles on it. Just trying to perfect this animal of power. Seems like something is missing in the power section and now to find out she is using a some oil..... rebuild this winter agh

What do you mean mechanically unbalanced? You can expect the monster to come out with -1 +3. I did -1+2 and she was great. My htev valve was laced open, flapper mod, and servo removal module done.

I understand the power of the bike it just seems like harmony of the motor is just there. May take it in to get blue printed and balanced this winter. I dont have the FI light on so I'm guessing the servo mod was put in. what kind of flapper mod did you do? Thank you for your help, new to the 954rr not to rockets tho.

Lift tank. Remove air box cover and filter. Flaps at the top of the box from intake tubes. Take out. Done. They will be hooked to cables that run to the butterfly valves on the exhaust.
