I'll post the pictures sometime tommorow night. I looked at E-Bay, pretty good deals on the fairing sets, and I like that you can change the styles if you want also. Shpping is outrageous, I'll go pick them up I think.

yea haha, your going to go to hong kong to pick them up? Thats a heck of a trip for fairing, 220 is actually very very good for international shipping. i priced a rear rim going from columbus ohio to the UK, $500 for one rim, both fedex and ups were the same. and thats not a very big package. but hell if your going to hong kong, ill give you a $100 to pick me up another set.

 

If I go to Hong Kong I'll be picking up a hell of a lot more than one or two sets. lol I found some on Ebay that were within a 100 miles of my location in California. There was another set on there with free shipping, but it was an auction with no buy it now option and started at $300.00. So I figure the asking price will be well above that.

 

Dont buy those abs plastics man they are a bitch to get on... they dont fit right and the clear coat is put on over the stickers so that is why it looks so good in the pictures. They are too thick and bulky to fit on stock. You also have to drill out all of the holes for screws ect... my buddy got them for his 600rr and it took the shop over 8hrs of work to get them on and they had to not only drill holes but use a grinder to make some of them fit... so yea they are cheap but they are not worth it.

Yea the fairings dont fit perfect but it should not take anyone anywhere 8 hours to put them on, unless you dont have arms or fingers or somthing. I could have them on and off a hundred times in 8 hours with doing the mods. Just have to know how to use a drill and a dremel.

 

Got the bike in the garage right now. What's the best thing to clean these fairings up with? She's real dirty from the trip. Here in so cal the wind blows 50 mph all the time and dirt gets in everything. I'll post the pics after a quick clean up. So what's the best to use?

 

Personally like Honda cleaner, however any good "mist and wipe" type spray is fine, say mcguires for example.
