There is different features on the ecus between the models of different countrys. Was your engine running all the time? If it was try it whit just the ignition on but not the engine running. Does your ecu have H.I.S.S.?

 

I've got the HISS, I'll try again tomorrow with the ignition on only. Too bad if I can't get it working, but I read the Australian Motor Cycle News launch test of the 954 at Phillip Island and they had it working on the test bikes and I've spoken to other Aussie owners online who had it. I got a vehicle history report from the motor registry and the total mileage on the bike looked correct (added up). It would be good if any Aussie with an owners manual could post the info on this site.

 

The mileage added up, so I doubt the dash has been replaced, but you never know.
