Default FI light on cluster

Can someone please help me? I have a 2002 954 and the FI light blinks 34 which means the valve motor that controls the air flapper system and the exhaust valve in the middle of the exhaust is bad. Well mine is not bad; it isn't there because I took it off and threw it away before I knew the light was blinking. I would like to get the light to stop blinking this code. Any suggestions?

Unfortunately the ECU looks for this as it cycles through at startup -- I still have mine on for that reason. I'm thinking of ohming the servo and swapping with a resistor and seeing if that fools the ECU but haven't gotten around to it yet.

chain stretcher is correct the servo produces a specified amount of resistance that the vehicle's computer looks for while in opperation. using a dvomm multi meter measure resistance and also open and close the valve because more than likely the resistance changes when it moves but if you can find a resistor or something like a rehostat to match the servos internal resistance and plug it into the harness you can fool the ecm into beleiving that the servo is still there and you may have to wait a certain number of warm up and cool down cycles for the light to go off on its own or it may go out as soon as the repair is performed
