I use my brights so little that, I didn't see the point in buying HID's for them. Plus on the buell I have a flash to pass button, which I use often and that's not going to work well with a HID.

I ended up sticking the ballast on the right side under the air scoop. Took the right side fairing off and stuck it to the inside of the inner fairing with double sided tape.

Just an FYI, as you increase the bulb temp, your light output decreases. I personally would go with 5000K.

it won't be too bad I don't think. I have 10k's in my car and I can see just fine. I did however go with 6k's just bc I think it will look better having less blue on the bike then the car.

Why? Who? I put 55w in both my bikes, because that's the wattage of the stock bulbs.

The 55W will burn hotter. Not a good thing for the small bike housing plus the bulbs and ballasts will burn out much sooner, according to companies that sell both kits.

Retro Solutions will not even warrant their lifetime warrenty Bi-Xenon projector conversion kits if you switch from 35W to 55W.

Has anyone tried to install this single projector kit in the low beam housing?

motorcycle hid projector KT-MT3

They don't say how it installs, but I'm assuming you need to remove the headlight lens and it just sits in the stock halogen reflector housing.

I see hid projector kits for the 954, but they are all dual kits that replace the high beams.
