Id Fix it, i bought my "hit by a car" 2k 929 for $2400 CDN. it had a dent in the tank and cheap chinese fairings, but she runs good and all is straight and true... I also bought a mint mint 2001 929 with 24k kms on it for $3000 CND, not a mark on it..... but that one lives in the living room!!!

If you own it, and it takes $50 to fix, thats $4550 less than the cost of a new bike........

 

I would guess about 2500 as well. I know you said you may not fix it, but if you do i happen to have that left clip on for sale. New OEM honda still in bubble wrap.
