it takes gasoline and matches to replicate that bike...it might be the most disproportionate motorcycle i've ever seen..

 

True, the tail does look a little high for my preference, no pass pegs, and no tire hugger, but I think he is on to something...

Don't get me wrong, I love the performance of my 954, but I often find me self starring at it trying to conjure up ways to update the look of the bike.

If you compare the older bikes to newer, what changes? Size (not in all cases of course), but instead of the fat and wide tails we were/are use to they are becoming more sporty, and imo better (if been on an 08 and 09 1000RRs and R1, and they are definately more comfortable

The power of the 954 is undeniable, but the look of it is becoming more outdated sadly.

 

I dislike the look of the newer 1000RR's.. Like the look of the 954/600f4i

 

I like the tail on the 09 1000RR, Im sure if you get that mounted it would look ok.
The bike in teh video looks like its been kicked in the ***, and the tail is too long, the bike is normal then there is a huge angle introduced at the seat which just looks like crap.

i think this particula tail looks like crap on a 954. Id be interested in a newer 1000 gsxr tail.. or maybe the 04-07 cbr tail. but different strokes for different folks

Eeew! That looks horrible. The lines don't match anything.

looks more like it has sumtin shoved up its ****. I would pick a diff tail personally.
