Sweet. That is what I am looking for. I was wondering if you could just push the wire in the harness and clip it back together. Do you not have to run a ground at all? Just a lead to the fan and one to the battery.

Part of me wants to change something because my engine got up to 217 yesterday while I was at a stop light heading into town. Then, in town it never cooled down below 200. the other part of me wants to trust honda engineering and not worry about it....

Well I am doing it. Rather Honda engineering is right or not, any time you can keep temps down is good. You make more horsepower with a cooler running engine. Plus I like the idea of knowing for sure I can click on the fan and keep my bike from over heating before it even gets close to being a problem.

yea i dont even use it for the fact that it keeps the bike from overheating or doing harm, i do it so my *** and legs arent on fire while im sitting in traffic lol.

and yea make sure you turn it off. even if you forget though, you will notice when u get off your bike and your bike is making a loud humming, or you will be reminded if you park with other people by them asking "whats that sound coming from your bike?!?!" haha

Yeah any switch will work just try to hide it so no one walks by and turns it on.

Good thinking. I never even thought of someone turning it on. Pfff.... some people....I swear.
