clean and lube it should go away.If your chain is worn then replace it along with the sprockets.

+1. A good clean and lube might clear up your issue. It's a cheap place to start.

You can clean the chain with kerosene. I've also heard people using WD40, but you don't want to spray directly on the chain as the WD will eat the rubber o rings inside the chain...

Replace the chain. Your chain is too important to take the chance of it breaking and causing major damage to your bike. If your sprockets look good then buy a used chain off ebay if you want to save money. If your sprockets look worn replace them too.

What notch is your chain adjuster set on? If its near the back then most likely the chain is stretched past the useable limit. Most likely you have a few links which are stiff. Put your bike on a rear stand and slowly rotate the wheel and see if you can feel it get stiff. If so the bad links have to be over one of your sprockets. Slowly inspect the chain until you find the bad links. You may get them to free up with a good cleaning and lube. I would not chance it if it were my bike. I would just replace the chain.

ride your bike, get the bike hot, clean/lube the chain, let it cool for a half hour, go ride it again, then check it once you get home from your second ride. (if its been raining or something, and/or you haven't lubed in a while, that could be causing the problem)

don't bother just replacing the chain. its important that your chain and sprockets have the same wear pattern. replace the whole thing. if you don't mind only gettin 10-15k miles out of a chain and sprockts, get a 520, cheaper and better performance
