Default Brakes squeal

My 03 now has 2500 miles and some change. The brakes just started to squeal. But only right at the end of a stop. I know the brakes aren't glazed. They are however old. Being that I picked this bike up last August with 717 miles on it. Got any tips to get rid of it ??

You can get a set for like 35 bucks on ebay. If you can afford (no offense) to replace them then why not....

If the brake pads still look new.I would either sand them down a little or buy new ones. The stock brake pads are HH pads which need to heat really well for them to work properly.Mine squeal a little, but that doesn't bother me.People notice me more when I come up to stop signs or lights.

Yeah your right. If I go pound on them they clear up. But damn they are annoying city riding. As far as replacing ??? These things don't have miles on them. 2500 at thats about it. Brakes have plenty of shelf life so I can't see them being bad or anything.
