Howdy all and top of the day to you all,
Here's my question, the CBR I am currently working on has upgraded stainless front brake lines. I think they are ugly as a mud fence on a rainy day. I'm considering down grading to the factory brake lines as I think they look much cleaner. Now, i have actually never rode anything with stainless brake lines, so will I even notice a difference if I down grade. (Every bike/car I have owned has had the factory rubber brake lines)Now, let it be known, the bike won't ever see the track nor do I race. Honestly, it will probably never see faster than 80 as long as i own it.

Not an issue. You'll still be able to do "stoppies" if you want.

 

Can you get new OEM brake hoses for that bike still? Don't put used lines on.

 

Yes, I can get new, they are aftermarket but appear like the factory rubber lines
