bores common scoring issue and right pistons
will need help regarding bores common scoring issue and choosing the correct method of a proper repair.
so the question will be of how to get this solved, i will highly appropriate also inputs form owners who already solved this issue some time ago and their bikes still running great after a few XX,XXXXkm
so, we have alusil cylinders and scrappy piston rings and piston skirt coating,
what will be the way out in order the bike to be healthy in a long run?
a) to bore the cylinders as per Honda`s suggestion 0,25 and buy a good oversized piston je or wieseco but then what kind of pistons to work with alusil , hypereutectic or forged made from which quality of aluminum?
another question will be the coating type of the pistons skirts or new pistons wiesco, je ...... taking consideration of the expansion of the metals at high rpm as well at cold running, without any piston slap or any kind of noises.
please note that the bike will be for a daily use and will see some track days
b) bore the cylinder and coat with nicasil 0,02 layer and again all the question marks regarding piston choice as per topic A
i really don't want to spend the $$$$$$$$$$$ and push that start button and get disappointed
BTW wishing a very happy 2021 to everyone with lots of tires to burn
