Good luck. The relays on the subframe are for the fuel cut off, headlight (more specifically for highbeams), and the fan. If you do end up switching relays instead of changing them out, watch for the relay for the fan. Warm temps and you'll see the coolant temp rise w/o the fan turning on.

So theres no way to get to the relays without removing the rear fairing? I'd hate to have to keep doing this over and over

Well, I've checked the fuses, tried switching around all the relays, charged the battery, and checked for loose connections... Fuel pump still wont prime, the headlight is not on, and there are no error codes being givin... Dont know what to do from here other than take it to a shop...

Have you taken apart the right handlebar switch and checked for loose or broken connections?

Definitely look into this. My old Hawkgt had a problem with the headlight because i had a corroded connection in the kill switch. It will also prevent priming of the fuel pump.
Good luck.

Problem fixed and I feel pretty stupid. Had a loose connection near the front of the bike. A wire was ever so slightly slipping from the connector. Me and my 954 are now reunited

I hate having to revive an old thread, but this bike is giving me fits, and I am close to ditching it. I've had an issue w/ both relays involved w/ the fuel pump. Stranded me 4 times in the past. Even after replacing the relays. This time I can't get the fuel pump to prime even switching out the relays. I'm done fooling around w/ it. I'm planning on getting it fixed and selling it. I know this is probably going to cost a bundle. Great bike, but horrible electronics.

Did you ever try bypassing the BAS? My 929 was doing similar stuff and it ended up being that. Jump the outer wires together and see what happens.

Other than that, it'd be nice to know if there is voltage at the pump. Maybe the pump is acting up.
