Default Arata Exhaust

Im looking at getting rid of this D&D shorty for a full system. Im not happy with the power of the compared to my 750. Is anyone running a Arata system or a Mircon with the shorty cans.

Cyle World this month said not to waste your time and money with a PCIII even with a custom tune... they literally wrote the "slip on and filter" did all the work

Not agreein with em, just sayin

yes i know that it will need a PC3 and a custom map. My 750 has a full devil, V-stacks, bmc filter and other stuff and it dyno'd after a tune 146 at the tire and this bike only makes 130ish thats why i was wondering if anyone has the arata exhaust with some dyno numbers

hmm.. donesn't really make sence cause if you know anything about engines you know that the perfect air/fuel ratio is key to performance.... hmm wierd

I haven't read the article yet, but I'm assuming they're referring to cost versus performance increase. But then again, I don't have a powercommander, so I can't really vouch for it either way. I'm thinking a slipon does SOMETHING, although it's quite possible it is just lighter than the stocker. I'm not sure on the 954.... the slipon was on there when I bought it.

Ive got a PCIII+2bros exhaust on my 954, loaded with a 2bros map (I know, I know, its not a "real" custom map) and I could feel a big difference down low in the rev range, alot smoother and felt stonger, cant really say I felt much at the top end though.
