How did I get the hole? Well somehow the bottom screw on the tank came out (probally vibrated out) and the tank leaned against my exhaust pipes (right where they come out of the headers)

Or did u mean what did i seal it with? if so i just used silicon. no biggy, i think i might just buy a new reserve tank because all the ones i see on ebay are about the same price as a new one once you add the shipping and handling. but thanks.

i have found out that using ebay is a good tool but before u click "buy it now" u need to look around, most of the time ebay is the cheapest but i have found cheaper and was glad as hell to find it cheaper. i say a front fairing on ebay USED go for 300 + shipping, went to ronayers.com and found one brand new shipped for 270. u could always use jbweld as a temporary repair hell maybe even perminant.
