Default Any suggestions for rims?

Wassup fellas? I was considering painting my rims to match my tank, and front end (silver). I called a local shop that is known for doing this and he told me that hes sure it would look nice, but I had to be extra careful on the because of chips, and blemished that commonly occur. He said that I may want to consider powdercoating, but it is harder to colormatch. I dont know what to do. I dont want to polish the frame, therefore I really dont want chrome rims. I dont want to spend the money to paint, and it starts chipping a year later, and I dont want to powder coat if it wont be exactly the same color. I need for my bike to stand out. My last option is to leave them black, and put a Silver rim stripe on, but i think thats kinda cheesy. Feedback? Suggestions? Help

i wouldn't paint i dont think.. i think it would chip easy.. i would get powdercoat.. i am sure they can match the color just find.. what about marchesini wheels... not cheap - about 1800 but very strong and light and different... take a look

i know you said u dont really want chrome cause you arnt' goin anything with frame.. but stock frames/subframe/swingarm bikes with chrome wheels dont look bad.. this is more of a personal pref question.. got to find rims you like.. it's your bike

paint dosen't last. have them powdercoated. If someone is close enough to see that the colors don't match exactly, you're not keeping a close enough eye on your ride.
