RE: Any comments on Yana Shiki pipe?
I haven't ever heard of it, but I checked out their website and it looks like it's pretty cheap stuff. I found one on ebay for 185
bucks buy it now with shipping (that's wayyyyy too cheap if you ask me)...Spend as much money as you possibly can on your
can it's worth it in the long run not having to listen to crap sounds all day.

The Yoshi, on the other hand, is running around 600...and akrapovic is running around 1000
And here is the search I used (to help you in your query)

ORIGINAL: EastCoast954rr
Hi,
I'm new to this forum. I was wondering what you guys thought of the Yana Shiki pipe. My 02 954 that I just bought came with one. I had never heard of it before. I'm planning on changing it to a Yoshimura RS-3 pipe. Let me know your thoughts.
Thanks

RE: Any comments on Yana Shiki pipe?
It actually sounds pretty good. Only thing I can compare it to is my friends 954 with a full Yoshimura exhaust. The Yana Shiki is a little louder. I just don't like the Black color on the black bike. I want something polished because I am going to chrome the wheels & swingarm this winter. As far as performance, I don't know either. I never rode it with the stock pipe but I doubt there would be that much of a noticeable difference. The pic below shows the pipe

RE: Any comments on Yana Shiki pipe?
The Yana Shiki's are very light weight compare to other brands, smaller in diameter and larger rear output. It's just like slipping on a straight tube for exhaust.
Very loud and makes engine run lean (although factory 954rr were setup rich anyways), idles roughly (sounds like a race baffle).
Good acceleration!
I would use it on the track instead of normal street riding (I guess it was intended to be design that way)
Hope this will help you make your decision.
