Default Yana Shiki??

Found a decent deal on eBay for front and rear wave rotors for the f4i. They are Yana Shiki and I can't say I ever heard of them. Any feedback?

no idea about them but am curious do the waves help with the braking or is it strictly cosmetic?

i heard it actually makes the braking worse but dont heat up and fade, so under abuse they work better.

I have heard from people who have installed the Galfer wave rotors and pads that they were awesome. Not sure. Price was about $400.00 shipped for both front and rear.

they aren't going to make breaking stronger, they just dissipate heat quicker and save a little bit of rotating mass
I could see doing it on the rear rotor since I rarely ever use it but the front brakes are too important to screw with just for looks

The saved rotating mass would yield quicker turn in. Heat dissipation is only good for tracks where the brakes get used a lot, I believe it makes them inconsistent but I could see an advantage too.
