Default Ant46 honda cbr954rr

I need help i live in .Richmond va. My bikes 4th gear keeps jumping out when i try to accelerate can anyone help me

Does it only happen in fourth? If so, that could be a worn component in the transmission. Potentially costly. With something that big, I'd recommend taking it to a mechanic to confirm

If it happens in all gears, check clutch cable adjustment

No it just happens in 4th a guy said the shift fork is broken or bent im need take out engine and turn it over take off pil pan and second cover amd pull apart trans to replace it

Makes sense to me. Could also be a worn dog

Check the oil for metal shavings when you drain it. Good luck

You don't have to take the engine out. It's actually quite simple to pull the shifter drum and forks. You can see pics in my project build. Pull exhaust right case, clutch and oil pan. There is a very well done how to at the top of the 954 forum. It's a 4 beer job!

I would imagine life is pretty sweet for the 4th gear. Hope it's not a broken gear. That would require pulling and splitting the engine on a bench.
