Default Aluminum Clutch Plates

Anyone have experiance with the aluminum clutch plates? Wear rates, flex etc?

Heard they will contaminate the oil, but thats not 1st hand knowledge. Whats the advantage?

Weight! I also dont tipically shift with my setup. I just come out in 1st gear, shift gently to 2nd then 3rd and run it in 3rd. I would imagine this will reduce potential wear on the aluminum drive plates. Just curious from users though!

Is this for race or street bike? It says on the barnett website they don't contaminate oil so they probably won't. But steel plates last longer and on a street bike i would use steel plates. Are you going to order a full set or just the steel plates?

It would be for a race setup. I have new friction plates already, thought about matching the new friction plates with these plates

I would go ahead whit them and watch how the oil looks and change the first oils little sooner to see do they look how they should. I got barnett carbon fiber full kit but it comes whit steel plates and my bike is street bike so i didn't go the extra effort to try to find a full kit whit aluminium plates. Would use them my self if they selled them in the full kits.
