Default 954 VS. big horned sheep

Long story short, on my way home from work I skimmed a big horn sheep in the apex of a tight 90* corner at about 40-50mph this morning. The road was somewhat wet and traction was not on my side, until the bike high-sided and spit my a good distance into the direction being traveled. The bike tumbled a few times, as well as I did. Damage is not too bad to neither one of us. I wear full gear and it was awesome! Just a few scrapes and a sore as hell right knee/hip/wrist. I may be in the market for some parts: front master cyl, upper cowl, rear brake pedal. Tank is dented a bit. All plastics took light scraping.
Gear saved me, I am very impressed. Although, I am very sore. Frame sliders, bar ends and swing arm sliders kept the damage from getting too crazy. Picked up the bike, dusted myself off, collected my thoughts and was on my way! My once perfect 954 is no more, very sad. Just happy I did not get seriously injured(or the bike totalled).
Dont worry about the horned beast, it took off and never looked back.
