There is no question (IMO) about the 954 vs the 04-06 1000RR... 954 all the way. Last year, Honda made a bunch of updates and I've heard its just a beautiful bike to ride. I would wanna check out a newer 1000 before buying again, but you got a few years like you said.

 

You Guys need to go to www.stuntlife.com they are the ones that talked me into a 02' 954 instead of a 06' CBR 1000 for the same price! They all say that the 954 is the best stoppie bike in the world and that it also has a excellent wheelie balence point.


They also love that Honda's can hit the asphalt a hundred times and still hold together, 100 times better than all the other bikes, you should here them trash GSXR's!

While I am only rolling 20-30 foot stoppies from 35 mph I can tell you it is 10 times as fun as they are on my F4i.

 

well be careful about stunting the 54 ....they are starting to become a rare bike...

 

Hate to say it but kinda glad a lot of stunters thrashed/junked the 954's, i actually do like having a bike that you dont see everydayie gix1k or busa etc............

 

yea the more they trash the higher the price gets to sell
