954 Hotbodies Undertail Kit
Be very careful when you make the cuts on the stock piece. Its easier to chip away at it. If you take too much material....your screwed. I used a dremel. Remove the whole stock tail piece. Its easier to work with when off the bike. Then start cutting away. When you think you are close. re install the stack piece and then fit the Hot bodies to see where you are at. Its a bitch. But take your time and it will be well worth it. Dont rush this job.
Hopefully this pic helps. You can clearly see how much I left of the stock fender. Keep cutting back the fender until the Hotbodies sits flush on the fender. On the edges. You make the cuts so the stock bolts that hang the fender are left intact. The whole rear section of the stock fender are chopped out. My Autocomm, PC3 and UFO light kit are blocking the rest.
Keep trimming and fitting the tail piece. You should end up with a nice clean fit when done. No gaps. As a side note. Take the piece of foam tape under the rear light on your stock tailpiece and gently remove it. Install it on your undertail under the tail light as well.

NICE job IRONHEAD. I wish mine looked that clean. It looks pretty good on the outside though, and keeps gloves and registration papers from falling out the ****-end.
