954 fueling issues - short twitch/cut in fueling on highway?
I have an '03 954RR with about 25k miles on her.
On highways when I'm riding at steady speed, every now and then there is this small twitch in fueling - like it would cut it off for just a split second. It would do this only once and then it goes like nothing happened. After some time it would do it again. It is more of an nuisance than a problem, but something is obviously off.
There has not been any other issues and the bike had a big service with valve inspections etc. done last summer or so. There is an aftermarket exhaust that has been placed by the previous owner.
I heard the fuel pressure regulator might need to be replaced. Any other insights to this issue?

@Rojola Welcome to the forum...
The feeling is like throttle would go 0% for a split second. Not sure if that would be different from the ignition to go off for a split second
In any case, it is a very short time - a blink of an eye, but it is clearly there and you can hear and feel it when riding.There is no sputter (sputter as in definition "make a series of soft explosive or spitting sounds.") nor slowing down per se, as it all happens very fast with quick recovery.
