the reason i used to have concern was because i had to shave a considerable amount of material off the vfr on to fit my 954 motor, and another guy got his viffer arm to fit his 929 motor with a 5lb sledge hammer - which would lead me to believe they're slightly different. but i looked around and a lot of people have done the swap - and they all said it's a straight swap.

it is a straight swap i used my spare 954 swingarm to test it out and u wer right about the triangles, havent checked the caliper mount yet but im gonna take ur word since i do see a little diference in the 2. so im thinking that guy with the hammer probly shouldve shaved it down. so all u need is the swingarm, triangles and caliper mount to a 954 to do the swap and it slides right in!
