929 or 954

That's what I'm talking about. I didn't realize the 929 was carburetors. Can't say fuel injections is the best thing to happen to motorcycles, but I've hade done a lot miles on both and have never had to rebuild an injector.

Wow please no more big threads on fuel injection and carbs....BobJoe you've been there! but the 954 looks bad ***, im also a fan of the 929 but the 954 is an all around better bike.... I must say that the 929 is slightly more comfortable in my opinion! I actually wanted a 929 coming from a F2 but ended up with the 954 and I love her! Look Rodantking if you go to the 929 section your going to get "get the 929!" its all personel prefrence, yeah the 954 is newer and better but get what YOU want. But like everybody else said the 954 is the sh*t!

Im not biased either way because i own both right now, I daily ride my 929 and have a strretfighter/stunt 954
Both are sick bikes and i cant really put them down in any way (except for the air duct thing on the 954)
Like i said on the 929 forum, It boils down to wich one YOU like more and/or find a cleaner & cheaper one
U guys kill me! The 54 was born from the 29, it owes life to the 29!What new swingarm, 25cc, thats a weedwacker motor. They look almost identical. Torque/hp are very close, 70ft.lbs.-128,131. Personally I like the YEL/BLK 29. The big jump was 99 to 2000, 900rr to 929rr. Carbs. to FI, weight, brakes,headlamp, real performance, real looks.Go look aqain!
The 954 swing arm is cosmetically better looking and allows for spools. They may look similar but if you have riden both bikes they do act differently being that they have completely different frames. The 954 is a wheelie happy SOB thats for sure.
