Default 6200 ft. to 1700 ft. OooH Yea !!

I just had to tell this I live and ride in Colorado 5700ft and up. My 954 w/ power command III two bro pipe runs really good here. Well I recently took a trip to the east coast NY ,VT, NH, NJ ,VI,PA . I trucked to Conn, and road from there some 2k of great riding.

I took my bike out of the back of my truck started it up to warm up while I geared up an off I went. HOLLY CRAP!!!!!! I was grinning as I pulled away from my bros house in the smoothest wheelie through three gears for about a mile and a half. It was like a totally different bike!!!! Every where I went I left on the back tire. The first three days I saw blueiz three times Stoppd each time got warnings . Fourth time well . I was way bad and well in to triple digits didn't see them long or ever again. Phew.

Long story short I usually ride a chopper with my Harley buds back there and never really noticed the power diff. But this time and my sport bike MAN what a HUGE diff.

I had forgot what good O2 does! Cann't wait to go back or to Daytona from now on both bikes go every where!

Just had to tell those who would understand.

Steve

that's awesome! I've heard that horsepower numbers can increase by 10-15% just from a 3000 ft change in altitude...
