See, I knew this was going to happen--I am NOT going to wind it the whole way out just to shift, my drivers license needs to cool off a bit before I'm forced to take a class. And hell, even in the Honda manual it has recommended shift points that are even lower than where I'm (sometimes) shifting. But anyway, like I said it isn't a everyday occurence, maybe once a week at best--just thought I'd pick your brains about it.

ok bobjoe. didnt i just say that in not so many words? i will only speak for myself next time jeez lol!! but it still sounds like you agree w/my previous statement, like i said there is no need to be in 6th gear at 40mph... i beieve that we can all agree on that.

Occasionally mine does the same thing, only from 4th to 5th. I think it's important to make sure you give it a full positive shift. I installed a Factor Pro shift kit and it still does it on occasion (rarely) if I don't give it a full deliberate upshift. Hondas are well engineered bikes but are not known for their buttery transmissions.
