Well that makes sense and that's all you had to to at least help me better understand. I'm just tired of seeing nothing but bashing on a bike. I was told it's a full exhuast and i dunno if my pipe is older or what, but i've had people look at it closely before and told me it was full exhaust so that's all I'm saying.

Notice the connecting springs, shine,and the fact that it is NOT the stock pipe? I would be pretty upset (and stupid) to buy that bike to find out it is not really a full system...

ya....well back in he daypeople were alot more honest...get this...honda suzuki north in texas told my friend they placed some new ct's on his bike.....his bike was being fixed there cause of a recall....came to get it...dunlop 207's.....said thats what the invoice said..after they bitched back and forth...he went and did a big burn out in the parking lot....shreeded the tire and said....now place the right ones on now....he has a tire warrenty...so they had to send a guy out to get his tires....he ordered a race pice for his 07 gsxr 1000...they sold a pipe to him that looked ust like it but the baffle is not in the race version but they swore up and down it was the right one.....(to safe money) so my friend thats sponsered by honda came into the shop with us and said sup.....this pipe is ****..not what he paid for.....get him his money back now or the correct pipe.....theres alot of shady *** people out there bro

damn, thats almost a third what i paid for my bike.
and to the orig thread topic, put that 54 on craigslist.org closer to spring and you will get high 3K to low 4K depending on where youre located. GL with the sale, sorry to see another 54 leaving the "family"

To give everyone an idea what the 954 is worth. I bought mine with 4500 miles on it. adult ridden. new tires, never down, paint shining, garage kept, in ABSOLUTE PERFECT condition, erion racing full exhaust, k&n air filter (not installed), and he even gave me back the stock exhaust and fender. I paid 5400 dollars for it.

Bought my03'Bone Stock, garage kept,pro. broke in on a dinowith under 2000mi. on it....Perfect....from a friendthat never had it anywhere nearthe limiter for$6G. He got old on me and went with a shaft drive sport/TOURING bike. I was just coming back from a Git-Off on a road rocket that left me with a snapped tib/fib and having ridden the bike a number of times ( and LOVING it ) I was more than happy to take it off his hands. I have to tell you...I have been riding forever and this 954 set up the way it is gives me more pleasure on those 300+ mile W.V. mountain twistie runs than I have ever had on the road. I am 50 yrs old 6'3 240ish and the comfort level of the 954 makes me want to stay into it ALL day long...... I know I am preaching to the pulpit but sometimes it just has to be said. [sm=pimp.gif]
