Default 2003 954 boggs when I hit the throttle.

i bought a 2003 954 that had sit for about a year with bad gas in it. it has a bolt on arkopovic exhaust and a power comander on it. i changed the plugs and drained the gas. I added "sea foam" fuel tratment to the new gas. but heres the proble, when i first got it going and on the first to rides it would not go over 7000 rpm's, and would bog right down if i slapped on the throttle. now a few more rides into it, it has gotten even worse and it wont go over 5000 rpm's now. i'm wondering if this is a power commander issue or if the injectors are gummed up, or a fuel pressure regulator problem. ANY IDEAS????????????

There is something gummed up in my opinion but,I would also check the spark plugs to see if they got fouled.

I know you just replaced the spark plugs but, still check them and see if you fouled them.

Remove/disconnect power commander. Sounds like you are down a cylinder or two. Get a spray water bottle and start the bike. Wait a min or two then start spraying a stream of water on each header pipe. If the cylinder is running good the water should evaporate immediately. If it runs down the header pipe or evaporates slowly the cylinder is down on power or completely dead. This will tell you if all cylinders are firing good and which ones need to be checked ie. spark plug, coil.

If you fouled them out you won't get the proper spark to ignite the fuel in the cylinder causing the engine to sputter.
