I just installed a new key ingnition into my 02 954rr. When I start it up the little red light on the speedo (dash) blinks every acouple of seconds. I havent started my bike in like a month or so because I have been waiting on parts. Its like the red light is blinking a code, like on a car. please help

My Honda manual says one blink indicates a poor connection with the MAP sensor or faulty MAP sensor. BUT, without seeing the bike for my self I'm not too comfortable with on-line diagnosis. Your best bet is to visit your local Honda tech or get a copy of the 954 service manual from eBay. I have used this seller and he is great. Good Luck!
