i want to add the fairing stay bracket that connects with the fuel tank bolts and steadies the windscreen fairing right by the mirrors...anyone know where i can find one for the 929...if you need to know what im talking about i have a pic i can post...as well anyone have any luck with the pig spotter mirrors?

 

i think i know what you're referring to. i've never seen anything. i guess i've never needed it even traveling at 160mph on my 929. wouldn't the bracket potentially obstruct your view of the instrument panel?

 

i wouldnt think so...but it would help for making the upper fairing much sturdier during high speed runs...

 

you might consider just getting a race fairing kit. if it's made of carbon fiber, it'll probably be plenty sturdy. good luck.

 

im actually havin a full carbon fiber piece made...i might just have to weld up a trick little piece and add it on as how i best see fit...

 

i looked at where the tank bolts were and where the mirrors are and i'm thinking that if you make a bracket like that, it would have to arch over the handle bars since they're right in the line of fire...maybe i'm not seeing how you're thinking about the design.

 

With regards to the pig spotters, I read that you had to drill into the windscreen on the 929 to get them installed. I'm a plug n' play guy. No drilling for me...

 

pig spotters are great buta pain to install. remember that

 

and they look gay on the 929's... [:'(]
