I believe its a bolt on...but I dont think he could use the hugger thats currently on his 929. The stock 954 hugger is actually pretty cool though.

NYERION, Will you be powdercoating it black to match? I cant wait to see pics. H

Its basically a bolt on thing... The hugger i have will no longer work, so that will also be for sale..I also have to use a few 954 parts i belive but not 100% on it yet...

Im picking up the 954 swingarm from "brooklyn" (member on here) and its already black

i will definetly have pics up when its on

What is the advantage to this swap?? Is it an asthetics thing or performance?? Just curious. I really like the yellow/blk. Thats the first big pic I have seen.

Im basically doing it because i think it looks a little nicer, amd it has the threaded hole for Spools... i share a rearstand with my friend who rents below me and were going to split a new set of stands, i think the spooled stands are nicer and easier... Mine seems to sit crooked and always slide off if i dont bungee cord the front brake with the stand i have now

as for the pics i have a few fairly recent ones in here... https://cbrforum.com/m_191353/mpage_13/key_/tm.htm

I can understand that. When I got my stand the dang thing wouldn't open up wide enough to sit under the swingarm so I made a sleeve to go through the axle. Wider diameter on the sprocket side and looks like spools on the outside. I used the spool adapters and works pretty sweet until I need to take the rear off. And I forget to take it out on occasion. Couple times I have gotten a couple miles down the road and heard it rattle and had to pull over and toss it in the rear. Good luck with the swap, let us know how it goes and post a pic when you get done.
