what is the ecu and how do you reset it ....

 

ECU is Engine Control Unit....aka ECM (engine control module)... basically your bike's computer. To reset it, I would guess you just unhook the neg battery cable for a few mins.

What seems to be the problem? Bike won't start?

 

yes my bike will stat... i done the htev and the air box thing and was wondering how you reset the ecu.... i put pcIII on it and it is running really rich the pipe is really black at the end in blows a cloud of black smoke out if you ride it easy and then get on it and it will burn your eys out is you are behind me... any ideas?

 

most likely it's the map you have installed,get a custom tune and all will be better.
