I just picked up a 2001 929, but the vin plate on the left side of the frame says cbr900rr, is this normal for a 929? I was a little worried that it was actually a 900, but the guy said all the 929's and 954's say that, because their the 900 models.

I'm also looking for front plastics, a tank and gauges if anyone has any. Thanks.
