Hi everyone!

A new thread not to get any issues with a bike problem, but to talk about the different tyre brand everyone have already used on their 929.
So, lets talk about grip on dry and wet surface, capacity of turning easily or not, feelings at big lean angle and price vs quality....on road and on the track...

 

I got the M3s on. They are solid in the mountains.
I can feel the tar snakes on the road...that will cause a hart-attack.
But the tires are good, I don't hesitate a second when laying her in a corner.
They heat up pretty quick.
They are pretty responsive, I don't have an issue throwing the bike around.
Wear is reasonable.
I don't skimp on tires!!!
I'm to much of a wuss to ride in the rain...

 

for the street & twisties = brisgestone BT016s or pirelli corsa 3s.. they're 3 compounds. Bt16s are about $250 for a set, corsas 3s are $100 more than bt016s. Michelin pilot powers 2cts are great for the street too and in the wet. pirellis dip in corners really fast, and really stable.

track = Pirelli Dragon and Diablo supercorsas.. they're really sticky on the street but cant get them to the temputure.. they dont last long though. Dunlop 211 Nect from UK are awsome as well.
i tried Michelin power race PRC/PR5 on both street and track.. i didnt really like them. race tires suck in the wet. they're running about 350 to 450 a set.
