Default Transporting Bikes

Just wondered if any knows or had any experience with putting 2 bikes in the back of a truck. I've got an 05 f-150 and my buddy and I are taking his 900rr and my 929 on a trip. Would like to go without a trailer if possible but I'm not sure how it's going to be trying to get two bikes tied down in the back of the truck????

i use a strap called a canyon dancer.its a real nifty strap made for hauling street bikes.your local motorcylce shop should have one..with that u can put both bikes in the back of a truck...reg tie downs its too hard to get a good secure hold on the bikes plus it messes up you plastic...

You dont need any fancy straps! Hook your regular tie down hook into your top triplethen wrap the strap around your grip a couple of times and secure it to the truck.Repeat on the other side and your good to go. This allows a secure hold and keeps the tie downs off your fairings. Don't over tighten if you like your forks seals!I've hauled many bikes safely this way.

It won't mess up your grips unless your a moron and don't place it right. As for the dirt bike comment- Who the hell hooks onto the grip of their motocrosser.

Yes they will fit, just be sure to secure them down. The canyon dancer is nice if you don't mind spending an extra 30 bucks on your bike. Soft straps around the top triple clamp and under the front fairing, out to the tie down spot works fine too. If the added sense of security is needed, throw a strap through the passenger brackets and you'll be fine.
