When my bike was idling at 1500 rpm th temp went up to 225 in city traffic easily. Once I got it to idle down to about 1250 rpm it took a little longer to get to 225 but it still does. I think ur within normal range. Unless u can find a temp sensor that activates at a lower temp I think u'll keep reaching th 225 mark.
