AS the title..to All CBR929 riders
Looking for CBR929rr titanium connecting rods to buy, I already looked for some companies
But they need to custom it and takes about 10 weeks to work, I think its taking toooo long,
Also its cost 1300 dollars per-titanium rod, 4 of them would be 5200 dollars...It's not worth that...
Anyone has good idea for that, and I would thinking to have custom cams and bored and replating the cylinders, them put forged pistons on the engine....this is my project..
Any of you guy had/have experience with CBR929 engine moded?

WHY??????
Not fast enough?
1. Full exhaust with custom tune
2. Sprockets with different gearing and new chain
3. Wave rotors and braided lines
That's a lot cheaper than 5200 and you will get a nice gain....
You must want a busa killer??? I don't need to dust your *** in the straight away. That takes no skill, ill bust your *** in the twisties.....

But..I will not spend 5200 for ti-rods for sure....maybe the other way to gain HP
I still need F/R suspension upgrade....So..After I done with engine, I will do for my frame stronger and work for suspensions..

What do you actually need the TI rods for? They'll be a little lighter, but won't make a noticeable difference on their own. If your doing mods that require a stronger rod than stock, I would send the stock ones out to be shot-peened. I know it's a bit 1980, but it does increase the tensile strength of the part considerably. Plus, as long as the rod has a higher tensile strength than the two bolts holding the cap on combined, the failure will be in the bolts.
