RE: tire recommendations??
im not a track guy, mostly a commuter and i run a set of shinko advance 005's on both my 929 and yzf600r.
the tire are only rated to speeds of 168 and i have have gone 160 on the 929 and 140ish on the 600r and no problems(the only things that were in danger would have been me(my choice)and a cow(future hamburger)or two.
lol

RE: tire recommendations??
I just bought Pirelli Diablo's for mine and they stick. Previously I was running on Pilot Sports and I really like them, however they are big tires and you can't really lean as much.
I have another 929 that I just as a commuter. About 18-20 miles one way. Any suggestions as to what type of tire I should purchase? one that lasts long, sticks, good in the rain, and i can lean at the same time. I hears Shinko 005's? any suggestions?

RE: tire recommendations??
I've run a lot of different tires over the years and my favorites are;
1) 2CTs
2) Corsa 3s
3) M3s
4) Qualifiers.
For a street tire that lasts a long time you cant beat the qualifiers. I've never had them come unglued once. And....they are about $75 cheaper than the rest.For track day it's nice to have that duel compound though.
