Default Tick noise... valve clearance or .......????

So I finally got my 929 running, it’s been a while and I thought it sounded great , however a buddy said it sounds like I might have a loose valve because there is a tick noise. I’m going to try and upload the 25 second video , tell me what you think. And if so, any suggestions on how to pinpoint which valve or do I just got to check them all again. I forgot to mention I just put a full exhaust on, did valve clearance, and thought I put all the proper siZes in , now I’m second guessing myself

Check them all, when the engine is cold. Some reason file won't download completely. Will take a listen if it does finish.

I can't open it either. Did you check the valves already? Are you sure it's not an exhaust leak at the header?

you know what, it very well could be. I was having that issue before when I first installed the new headers. I used the firegum stuff that came with the exhaust, but it still had a leak. Any suggestions on a quick way to seal it and try to rule it out without having to remove them?

It was leaking oil it looked like. I thought that was because I spilled some in there and it was pushing it out. It was so bad it screwed all the plugs up I had to replace them. Well, I removed the headers , put more fire gun gasket paste on the gaskets and put the header on however I can see maybe 1 or 2 tiny spots it could possibly leak through. Uhhhh brother I’m getting so fed up I’m ready to sell her and get a newer bike. I’m into it so much money I’ll never ever get what I put into it and the way it’s going it seems like it more n more problems

Then again all the **** that happens with this bike man I just know anymore

There is essentially 3 possible things for the Tach not working. ECU is bad, wiring connection from ECU to the Tach is bad, or the Tachometer is bad. You need a Peak Voltage tester in order to see the signal between the ECU and Tach. I'd start with checking the connections since those have been messed with.

wow man. That’s crazy. When my old ecu was in and it was running. It was fine. So this guy sold me a bad ecu probably. I’m going to try my old ecu back I. And see if I got any luck
